Aotearoa, July 12th 2015
Aotearoa is the Maori name for the country of New Zealand. The literal translation of
Aotearoa is "land of the long white cloud".
By the time my Jetstar neared North Island,
I became convinced that Aotearoa is not merely an expression. It is just so real. Painstakingly, I fought the reflection on my window seat, tempting to capture the looong white cloud circling New Zealand, not so successful. Definitely, I need a scientific explanation for this phenomena.
